the best shrub in the tropics

Hibiscus Haight Ashbubury - Amazing, multi-tonal shades of cream to pink to
burgundy foliage; deep burgundy flowers in late summer.  *Even drought tolerant
plants will need water for the first few weeks while they get established. After this,
little or no supplemental water will be necessary when planted in the ground. No
plant is truly drought tolerant in a container; water is necessary for all plants in
containers.

Hibiscus Haight Ashbury
Hibiscus 'Purpureus variegatus'
Hibiscus 'Purpureus variegatus' - an unusual rose of sharon! It has
cream-and-green variegated foliage, attractive all growing season long,
and dark maroon button flowers. Buttons, because they never open up
like a regular rose of sharon flower does. This not only looks cool, but it
also makes them last a lot longer. I'm surprised this is not more common
