Alocasia plumbea ‘Metallica’ - is a striking tropical foliage plant which grows
to 6 feet tall. The huge leaves are shiny and they point upwards or sideways.
The upper leaf surface is a deep green-black colour. Underneath is a silver-
purple with purple veins. The leaves look to be waffled or quilted in nature and
will form a dramatic statement in your landscape. Will tolerate full sun to

Alocasia New Guinea Gold - a most curious form from Papua New Guinea that has a
habit of producing variegated leaves at certain times of the year. This very beautiful
plant. The thick sculpted glossy green and gold speckling makes this elephant ear
unique. It is quite hardy, surviving 0 degrees F, but prefers warmer conditions. When
they are young the leaves are completely green. The speckling begins after the plants
are a few months old. The leaves on these plants are approximately 4”-6” long.
